Privacy policy

This policy explains which data Triple20 may process, why it is used and what choices are available to you.

Last updated: July 23, 2026

1. Data controller

Triple20 is an application published by an independent developer under the name Triple20. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can use Support.

2. Data we process

The app is designed to work locally without requiring an account. Depending on the features you use, the following categories of data may be processed:

  • Game data: players, nicknames, preferences, scores, darts, games, practice sessions and calculated statistics.
  • Optional photos: an image selected or taken to illustrate a player profile.
  • Account data: email address, profile name and technical identifier when you create an account.
  • Sync data: player profiles, game history and photos you choose to back up to the cloud.
  • App preferences: language, theme and game settings stored on your device.
  • Purchase data: if a paid offer is available, subscription status and transaction identifiers supplied by Apple, Google or the purchase-management service. Triple20 does not receive your bank or card details.
  • Diagnostic data: when an error or crash occurs, Triple20 automatically sends Sentry the error type and message, stack trace, date and time, and limited technical information about the app, its version or update, the operating system and the device model.
  • Support messages and bug reports: if you use “Report a bug” or “Support” in the app, the message you enter, your name and email address if you choose to provide them, the app language, and whether or not you are signed in.

Automatic diagnostic events are not linked to your Triple20 account. Before they are sent, user identity is removed, URL query strings and fragments are stripped, and email addresses or authentication tokens that may appear in error messages are redacted. Sentry is not configured to receive screenshots, screen contents, app logs, session replays, performance traces or network-request breadcrumbs; session tracking and automatic capture of failed requests are disabled.

3. Why we use this data

Data is used only to:

  • record scores and calculate results;
  • display your history and statistics;
  • personalise player profiles and settings;
  • create and secure your account, then sync your data if you enable this feature;
  • detect, understand and fix errors and crashes to improve the app’s stability;
  • respond to support messages and bug reports that you choose to send;
  • manage a possible purchase or subscription;
  • prevent abuse and keep the service secure.

Depending on the circumstances, this processing is based on providing the service you requested, your consent (in particular for device permissions), or our legitimate interest in securing and improving the service. Automatic diagnostics rely on our legitimate interest in maintaining a reliable and secure app; information you voluntarily send through support is used to handle your request.

4. Local storage and optional sync

Without an account, games, players and preferences remain on your device. They may be lost if you erase the app’s data or uninstall it.

If you create an account, Triple20 may use Supabase for authentication, its database and photo storage. The information required is then sent to this provider so your data can be backed up and restored across your devices.

5. Device permissions

The camera or photo library is accessed only after you give permission, for example to add a player photo or show the dartboard during a game. You can withdraw these permissions at any time in your phone’s settings.

6. Service providers and recipients

Your data is never sold or rented. It may be available to providers that are strictly necessary to operate the service: Supabase for accounts and sync; Sentry to diagnose errors and crashes and receive support messages sent from the app; and Apple, Google and RevenueCat if in-app purchases are enabled.

Triple20’s Sentry project is hosted in the European Union region in Germany. These providers apply their own policies, and their subprocessors may process some data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards required by applicable law, including appropriate contractual clauses where necessary.

7. Retention periods

  • Local data remains on the device until you delete it or remove the app.
  • Account data is kept while the account is active, then deleted when you request account deletion, subject to legal obligations.
  • Diagnostic events and messages sent to Sentry are retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted.
  • Purchase records may be retained by app stores under their own legal and accounting rules.

8. Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access to, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us through Support. Proof of identity will be requested only when needed to secure your request. You may also contact the relevant supervisory authority, including the CNIL in France.

9. Website, cookies and audience measurement

This landing page uses no advertising cookies and includes no marketing tracking. Vercel Web Analytics measures page views and clicks to the App Store or Google Play in aggregate, without building advertising profiles. The hosting provider may also generate limited technical logs to serve and secure the website.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may change as Triple20’s features or applicable regulations evolve. The update date will be revised and, if a change is significant, appropriate notice will be provided in the app or on this website.
